Archie Battersbee 12 has been in hospital for the past two months after suffering a brain injury at his home. I find that Archie died at noon on 31 May 2022 which was shortly after the MRI scans taken that day. After suffering brain damage in an incident at home more than a month ago Archie Battersbee of Southend Essex has not regained consciousness.
His case is now before the High Court because doctors think he is brain-stem dead. I discovered that Archie died at 12 pm. The mother of Archie Battersbee has described the heartbreaking moment she found her son as they wait for the High Courts decision on whether doctors can turn of his life-support.
